Handmade, made in Japan, traditional technique. It is not easy to find out and distinguish the machine made, not made in Japan. Unfortunately, so many souvenir shops in Japan are providing machine made, mass production items as “Japanese Culture”.
We Kanattale has been finding the True Japanese Crafts. So please enjoy what we can providing Japanese unique items.
Tsuba – Samurai Sword Guard
Sasano Ittou Bori – Very traditional wood carving.
Agano Yaki – Pottery that is famous in Fukuoka Pref. We are communicating with workshop in Tokyo.
Hyougu – Paste the Paper with calligraphy or Paint on Kakejiku, Byoubu, Panel, Frame. It is very high technique to paste thin paper to the boards and so on.
Cyouchin – Japanese lantern. Made by paper and wires. In Japan, these are used in festivals, as billboard, and as Lucky charm. We are preparing to get your order!
Tatami – Tatami is the Japanese traditional flooring. It is too big to export to you. Then, we Kanattale is providing miniature as coaster and so on.
